busitec
Initial situation
Ensuring the perfect interactivity of people, technologies and processes with innovative and individual solutions for the digital workplace: The IT consulting and development company busitec GmbH based in Münster/Germany has been accompanying its customers on their path of digital transformation and rethinking workplaces for more than 20 years. This is also reflected in the design concept for the new company building in Münster.
Due to its constant growth, the company has already moved several times within Münster since its foundation. Since the end of 2018, the busitec office has been located in the newly developed district of Loddenheide in the immediate vicinity of Münster’s harbour. The open office landscape offers space for around 30 employees and the furnishing concept allows for flexible use and at the same time allows for a change between teamwork and concentrated retreat.
The project: Furnishing the new office building with space for 30 employees
Customer: busitec GmbH
Partner: TON Objekteinrichtungen GmbH, Münster
Location: Münster, Germany
Design Process
busitec GmbH accompanies its customers as a source of ideas, pioneer, architect and mentor on their individual path of digital transformation. “A little BIT of individuality” – the slogan of the IT company – set the tone for the furnishing concept of the new building. In cooperation with the client, our trade partner TON developed an open office landscape with adjacent conference and retreat facilities. With different materials, colours and surfaces, a very individual solution was created for busitec.
Implementation
The areas distributed throughout the building for meetings, individual work or confidential discussions support the diverse possibilities for use. Friendly colour accents, plenty of light and ergonomic office furniture contribute to the cosy atmosphere, while plants ensure a good indoor climate.
As an expert in future-oriented working environments, ophelis brought flexible desk solutions as well as solutions for storage, screening and zoning of the office landscape into the furnishing concept.
For alternating work between sitting and standing, ophelis’ CN series of electromotive sitting/standing desks are used. The paravento with the rear desk screen assure shielding in between the workstations. If required, the storage space concept orga.cube provides flexible lateral separation from colleagues.
In order to create different places to work and retreat within the office landscape, the single-seater from the ophelis sum range was equipped with high back screens. In addition, the sum cabin offers four people space for short coordination meetings without disturbing their colleagues in the room.
The room was additionally equipped with paravento hubs – a modular system for zoning rooms and creating retreats.
