Fluid boundaries between work, retail and living – ophelis sum

The sum product idea is based on three core elements: base, partition and cushion. These can be combined in an additive and modular fashion. This easily enables a wide variety of seating to be configured – from stools and benches to armchairs, sofas, loveseats and cabins.

Screens at two different heights define the degree of shielding. Depending on the extent of retreat and discretion required, choose from between an L-shaped or U-shaped partition.

sum can also be configured into meeting rooms which accommodate up to six people. There is a choice between a sitting height of 40 or 45 centimetres.

Different tables serve as flexible bridges, go-betweens and add-ons. The system has been supplemented by a new cabin table with an integrated electrical connection (Twist). In combination, these items of furniture create micro architectural islands in the room. ophelis sum also offers integrated power supply options.

Seven frame colours plus an extensive collection of fabrics

The combination of three core elements in seven frame colours with a wide choice of materials creates a wealth of possible combinations. The ophelis sum concept is clear, modular and additive. The design creates lightness and highlights how flexible the layout possibilities are.

The system is not firmly connected and can be easily and flexibly adapted to the needs of its users.

sum lets you create a wide range of different colour atmospheres and accents. Enabling, calming, restrained or loud, depending on the objective. ophelis sum fits into modern office rooms, lobbies, lounges and foyers, for both retail and private living environments.
