Web analysis using Matomo

We use the software “Matomo” (www.matomo.org) on this website, a service of the provider InnoCraft Ltd, 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand. If sub-pages of our website are called up, the following data is stored:

– the user’s IP address, shortened by the last two bytes (anonymised)

– the sub-page called up and the time of the call-up

– the page from which the user accessed our website (referrer)

– which browser with which plug-ins, which operating system and which screen resolution is used

– the time spent on the website

– the pages visited from the sub-page accessed

The data collected with Matomo is stored on our own servers. It is not passed on to third parties.

We collect the data in order to analyse the surfing behaviour of the users and to obtain information about the use of the individual components of the website. This enables us to continuously optimise the website and its user-friendliness. These purposes constitute our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. By anonymising the IP address, we take into account the interest of users in the protection of personal data. The data is never used to personally identify the user of the website and is not merged with other data.

The IP addresses are anonymised (IP masking) so that an assignment to individual users is not possible.

The data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO. We are thus pursuing our legitimate interest in optimising our website for our external presentation.

You can revoke your consent at any time by deleting the cookies in your browser or changing your data protection settings.

The data will be deleted when it is no longer required for our purposes.

Use of videos (e.g. YouTube, Vimeo)

YouTube
This website contains at least one plugin from YouTube, belonging to Google Inc., based in San Bruno/California, USA.
We use the YouTube no-cookies function, i.e. we have activated extended data protection, videos are not accessed via youtube.com, but via youtube-nocookie.com.

YouTube itself provides this and thus ensures that YouTube does not initially save any cookies on your device. However, when the relevant pages are called up, the IP address and the other data mentioned in section 4 are transmitted and thus, in particular, information is given as to which of our Internet pages you have visited. However, this information cannot be assigned to you if you are permanently logged in to YouTube or another Google service when you access the page.

As soon as you start the playback of an embedded video by clicking on it, YouTube only saves cookies on your device through the extended data protection mode, which do not contain any personally identifiable data, unless you are currently logged in to a Google service. These cookies can be prevented by appropriate browser settings and extensions.

For the use of data from your browser or terminal device in connection with the playing of a video, please refer to the provider’s data protection information. Further information on data processing and data protection by Vimeo can be found at https://vimeo.com/privacy.

Within the scope of the use of our registration and login functions as well as the use of the user account, we store the IP address and the time of the respective user action. The storage is based on our legitimate interests as well as those of the user in protection against misuse and other unauthorised use.

We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to ensure that the newsletter is sent with your consent. Subsequently, the user is given the opportunity to confirm the registration in a legally secure manner by means of a confirmation e-mail. Only if the confirmation is received will the address be actively included in the distribution list.
We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and offers.

Right of withdrawal
You have the right to revoke your consent in accordance with Art. 7 Para. 3 DSGVO with effect for the future.
